Our Mods
5🌟STAR is a server created by black and mixed-race women two years ago. Our primary interest was always to meet other black women/girls who gamed and shared similar interests.
Now that we've spent more time getting acclimated to discord and managing a community, we have our hearts settled on maintaining a close-knit or sociable group. We have been a larger server and
allowed women and ENBY folks of all races to join us, but ultimately were met with disappointment when similar barriers and issues arose that we already struggle with or try to ignore in our daily life. We are currently still accepting anyone who meets our guidelines but folks who can't answer our entry questions will be turned away.
Trans women and non-binary people are more than welcome and if you feel that you can't share a space with them, you don't belong in our server or quite frankly anywhere.
We want to meet other UWU bitches, art hoes, runway wannabes, no-life chad gamers, and people who are interested in genuine and sincere conversations. Are you that girl?

To foster a sense of community we'd like to host events with our members on a somewhat weekly basis, for now, we are playing by ear.

Our server has had movie nights, game nights, and we join each other for music sessions. Our current main activity is joining VC to discuss a topic (oftentimes political) proposed by a member. If you're chatty and or opinionated, please join us.
We would like to bring awareness to the practice of upholding common courtesy in our server. As a server originally dedicated to black queer women, we often encourage discussions about personal experiences related to race, gender identity, and presentation. These discussions help foster a safe space where people are free to talk about what is dear to them.

However, what we find unacceptable is overriding or glossing over another individual's story. Everyone deserves to be heard and acknowledged, so please take special care in making sure you allow others to have their moments. Dismissive behaviors are abhorrent and will be dealt with accordingly.
